new ff install seems to crash importing edge content

Given reinstall of windows 10, I just now installed FF, but it stalled ( greyed out import progress, incl. 'next' buttons) , but it seemed to freeze or stall as noted.

I 'closed' out of it via red X top right, and it started up , but there are zero bookmarks.

I guess I shall Uninstall and REinstall and try to fix, but I wanted to make this info available in case its some odd bug here.
