I have installed FanFictionDownloader today and it shows in my add-ons/extensions, but I can't get it on a toolbar to use it
I have downloaded FanFictionDownloader today and it said that it installed successfully and it shows in my add-ons/extensions, but I can't get it on a toolbar or anywhere else to actually be able to use it - what do I need to do?

tried looking on the FFDL forum but couldn't find anything on my particular problem - difficult to navigate the site.
If you can't find your issue on their forum, create a new message as you did here.
Have you tried this;
Type about:customizing<enter> in the address bar. Look for Show / Hide Toolbars at the bottom left.
Thanks for this - I have tried customising in Firefox but the FFDL add-on doesn't show up there to allow me to move it to the toolbar to use. I did try to create a new message on the FFDL forum but gave up in the end because I just couldn't find the way to do it - sorry to be so dense!
You are someone with a problem. Also, the issue may be related to this:
Bug 1155413 - Many icons missing from Add-on Customize Manager https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1155413
If you want, I can add your problem to the list.
Yes please - add my problem to the list with this issue. Thanks again.
It is done. There are now a half-dozen in the list.
Did you try to click the Restore Defaults button in the Customize palette window?
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
