how do i restore items at top of page like history, bookmarks, etc.

I've lost the items that used to be above the tabs. Things like edit, print, save choices and also dropdown choices like history, bookmarks, favorites, etc.

Chosen solution

Try right click in the free area around the address bar and make sure "menu bar" is checked to get your menu bar back.

As for the firefox button, that no longer exists in 29, try the "hamburger icon" on the right (tree vertical lines), that "thing" is the "new and improved" menu now.
