I can't transfer my contact list from my desktop Firefox to my laptop Firefox.

I have a desktop and and old laptop still running XP. I bought a new laptop with Windows 8.1 and when I installed Firefox, it would let me import contacts from Outlook but not Firefox. Seems rather odd that you don't have the option of importing your contacts from another Firefox contact list. 

 Maybe I missed something, ut I could ot find any way to do it. Please help.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser. It has no "contact list".

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.
