copy/paste links on microsoft forum

more options

I answer questions in several different forums.

What I have tried so far, resetting firefox, running firefox in safe mode, restarting pc, restarting firefox

I can copy/paste in xp forums here:

http://www.xpforums.com/

as you can see above the link is not in link form the address would have to by typed in or copy/paste into the address bar of a new tab.

I generally can copy paste links with no problems except here in firefox.

can copy text between tabs and from documents to reply box, links from my documents will show up in reply boxes as links.

Not sure what other details are need but will provide whatever is needed.

Edit: it appears now that the link did post as a link. will test on the microsoft forums. 12:25 am

Edit 2: no it did not work after submission on the microsoft forum, still copy/paste as plain text.

Chosen solution

I have found a workaround for the microsoft forums, I have to use the insert link to change from text to link

a few extra steps but I can accomplish my mission.

thanks to myself for providing a solution
