Have an application that uses flash to grab the camera and allow a picture being taken with the laptop camera.

Works in FF 21 and earlier, 22 and more recent it just hangs. Soon as I back-grade to 21 it works.

Please check if all your plugins are up-to-date. To do this, go to the Mozilla Plugin Check site.

Once you're there, the site will check if all your plugins have the latest versions. If you see plugins in the list that have a yellow Update button or a red Update now button, please update these immediately.

To do so, please click each red or yellow button. Then you should see a site that allows you to download the latest version. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation and follow the steps mentioned in the installation procedure.

I'm not familiar with using Flash that way. Does Firefox display any errors in the error/browser console (open using Ctrl+Shit+j)? I suppose if the browser hangs, you can't view the console... Perhaps if you tile the two windows before trying to access the camera you might be able to see whether there is a permission error?

It hangs when it goes to upload. So the camera is seized properly. Then the pic is snapped then the web browser hangs on transferring that pic...
