i have a problem wiht the internet service then the company send me a technician, he wanted to do some test and i tell him to use Opera because i already had the firefox with up to 53 tabs, he used the firefox, when he finished he close it and did not hit the right optio to save the session

i am complaining with the ISP and i am into legal too because the information there was VERY sensitive and important.

but for a while, is there a way to restore those tabs?

You can try to restore Firefox's recent history. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Session-Restore explains how. But if you have opened and closed Firefox since the window was closed, unfortunately that probably won't work :/

also, the version of firefox you are running does have alot of security issues and problems, you should update to firefox 11 ASAP

Firefox 3.6 versions do not have a "Restore Previous Session" feature or other way to restore the session if it didn't reopen automatically.

It is always better to use "Show my windows and tabs from last time" and not rely on Save & Quit.

  • Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

Your only option is to check the browsing history to see if you can find those closed tabs.

Thanks guy, i was able to solve it shutting down the computer by de bad way (removing the electricity, unplugging it), in order to keep the files intact, then i started in safe mode and proceed with a system restore, after that, everything was there.
