So I noticed this after the first update. I will be browsing on sites ( sometimes with more than one tab open, different sites each time) and suddenly the internet will go 'dead'. I can still do stuff with the mouse e.g; close firefox, click the tabs etc but the pages just stop loading. This is not a problem with the modem, as other things like msn are still running fine. This started about two weeks ago, the only way to solve it is to close firefox and open it again. This seems to only happen on my account on the computer, the other accounts don't seem to have the problem.

The default of the pref network.http.max-connections has been increased from 30 to 256 in Firefox 6+ versions.

Try to decrease the value of the pref network.http.max-connections from 255 to a setting like 30 as used in Firefox 3 versions.
