As the title suggests, I'm using a new Dell XPS 15 with nvidia 525gt and integrated graphics running nvidia optimus to switch between GPU's. I have setup Firefox in the nvidia control panel to use the nvidia GPU by default and the base installation of Firefox version 5+ work fine with the default theme, however if I install a new theme such FXchrome certain Firefox UI elements become disabled/hidden but still clickable, such as: * Icons in the Firefox menu are missing on first click but appear thereafter * Rollover states in the Firefox menu do not show but elements are still clickable * Address bar auto prediction stop working after 3 characters have been entered * rollover states in the address bar suggestion list do not work but click events still do * scrollbar in the address bar suggestion list does not allow any interaction There is a simple workaround by disabling hardware acceleration in Options>Advanced>Browsing, un-checking use hardware acceleration when available, but ideally the above behaviours shouldn't manifest themselves. I don't get the same issues with my desktop that only has an nvidia GPU and therefore doesn't use Optimus, using the same FF version and same themes. Is this likely to be a Firefox issue or is it theme specific?
