Why doesnt Chatzilla allow me to connect to certain irc networks ??

I recently updated to firefox 6.0 and installed Chatzilla addon for firefox as I usually chat and download using irc. But as it doesnt allow me to connect to cetain irc networks I had to downgrade my browser to firefox 4.0 which doesnt cause any problems.
