Firefox doesn't load my Flash player even though it is the latest version.

On the check plugins webpage it informs me it has disabled the Flash plugin and that I should upgrade it.

But I've already got the latest one from Adobe (10.3.181.34) and it work in all other browsers.

It's bad that the browser doesn't load the plugin but it's even worse there's no way to force it into loading it / just accept that I want to do.


Step by step: Boot Knoppix. Extract Firefox 5 to home dir. Untar latest flash player into /. Copy libflash*.so to /usr/lib/firefox/plugins Start ̃/firefox/firefox
