I am trying to setup sync, but I can't finish because that capcha is not visible. It is just a big blank spot. When I hit next the error message comes up, but no capcha and no input box.

Hi Juan,

We did speak about several reasons why the Captcha is not appearing. You would need to find what's the exact add-on that is affecting your browser. Check this thread.
