I have recently downloaded Firefox 4 onto my Dell Win 7 Platform.

I could no longer use EBAY in many areas as the page layout was corrupted, where most information shifted over to the Left of the screen. Some selections in Ebay were no longer working.

I uninstalled Firefox 4 and re-installed an older version (in this case Ver 2) and Ebay is now as it should be..

I want to go Ver 4 in Firefox as I am a Long time User, but cant until this gets resolved, either by Firefox or Ebay..

Please advise...

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

OK I cleared cache and cookies.

Downloaded Firefox 4.

And, so far, everything seems as it should be.

If my cookies/cache fill up again will I have to maintain these in future to keep FirefoxVer 4up and running ok.

I will, keep using Ebay and come back if anything transpire..

By the way, THANKS again......John
