When i launch the new firefox 4 I get an error page titled problem loading page - with this message

File not found

Firefox can't find the file at jar:file:///Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/omni.jar!/browserconfig.properties.

Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.
Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.

Why and how do i fix it I have tried reinstalling the program once.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
