You could just do a screen print using keyboard key 'Print screen' which dumps the screen into your clipboard, or with another key just the active window, then save that file possibly in 'Paint' and print it out.

Alternatively there are many add-ons that deal with cookies and privacy issues. Whilst on the subject of cookies it may be worth looking up about LSO or Flash cookies; and third party cookies. Again there are add-ons that deal with them.

Well John 99, that's a great idea! Hadn't occurred to me...though it's a honkin' huge file, I should be able to filter it to narrow it down and make the window(s) smaller...

I have the Better Privacy add-on which addresses the LSO's, but hadn't thought far enough ahead to look for an add-on for this--bound to be one. I can't be the only one who wants access to this file. But in the meantime, I shall indeed do a capture.

This site is probably not for in depth discussion of add-ons, but what I tend to do is use the Firefox options to generally look at cookies, but if I want more detail I have firebug, which in turn has the firecookie addon.

Firecookie does allow me to export a list of all cookies as a text file, which is a lot easier to use and manipulate than a screen dump, or resorting to using a sqlite editor.
Firecookie also easily allows me to see the sets of cookies any particular site uses, viewing their full detail and changing settings or manually editing individual cookies.

After some experimentation, I found that 'Add & Edit Cookies+ 0.3.3' is exactly what I was looking for. If one wants something more comprehensive, * firebug * firecookie are the way to go. Too much for my needs; as far as I could tell, it only showed the cookies for the current page, so was useless for what I was trying to accomplish.

If you're looking for something that will SEE ALL your cookies,& delete 'em at will, A&EC 0.3.3 is it.

Firebug is not very intuitive/user friendly, in that it assumes users already have some web design knowledge. The steps to list all cookies are fairly simple.

Firecookie will list all cookies as a plain text file. The method is as follows

1. open firebug by clicking its icon
2. click 'Cookies' from its menubar to turn on the cookie information
3. from sub menu 'Cookies' select export all cookies (This is ALL cookies)
   • or alternatively choose export cookies for this site, if you are interested in only one site

Other useful features of firecookie include its ability to

• log changes to cookies and
• to watch them in real time as they are sent and received.

I was so, I dunno, "bumfuddled" by firecookie/firebug I just went, "OMG" and blew it off. Dinna play with it at all. It looks like a useful tool for those considerably less clueless than myself.

Should I go edit my previous post to update the version number?

BTW, I DID use your idea about screen shots to go copy the actual cookie files in Docs & Settings\Admin\Cookies AND Docs & Settings\Admin\Local Settings\Temp internet files, so that I can compare them--some of my opt-outs didn't take in Firefox, so I did them in IE, where they all did. Now I can find the 6 that are missing and just move 'em over!

I think it all make sense as it is. You seem to be doing well, you found a suitable add-on and got to the ;-) bottom of your problem with cookies.
