Try to delete places.sqlite and all the .JSON backups in the bookmarkbackups folder in the Firefox Profile Folder.

I went into the profile folder and found these files but it will not allow you to delete them so now what do you do. I am wondering if I go in and search the hard drive and delete everything that has to do with bookmarks then try to down load the up grade and then load my book marks from a disk would that work? cw
