This message message appears on my screen as soon as I logged in. "Well this is embarrassing......................"

RESTORE or START NEW SESSION

My question is if I click Firefox it should go to google as I have google as a default screen when I log in.

What do I do to resolve it?

Are you exiting Firefox before shutting down your computer? That message appears when Firefox thinks the previous session had crashed.

See if anything here helps you:

This can be a problem with the file sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Profile Folder

Delete sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Profile Folder

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.

How are you closing Firefox ? as I agree with Ed in that if Firefox is still up and running when you exit Windows, the Firefox could crash and give you this prompt the next thim you start Firefox.

Are you closing Firefox by way of "File->Exit" or the X on top right or do you end Firefox by way of taskmanager.

Its pathetic that Firefox posts the message about how embarrassed they are each time Firefox crashes. They should stop posting that sentence and actually become proactive to fix the issue that is causing the crash.
