I backed up my bookmarks and saved them to my desktop. (windows xp) Shortcut to bookmarks-2010-12-27.json should that restore using import? thanks

Shortcut to bookmarks-2010-12-27.json file is the name . I tried several times to import them back with no luck. .43 KB (4,545 bytes) not sure if that's a very large file but I had a boat load of bookmarks. Any ideas? thanks

You need to restore a JSON backup, import is for HTML formatted bookmarks files.
