Why does Firefox keep trying to upgrade me when I'm up to date?
I (Firefox automatically) upgraded to version: Firefox/3.6.13 roughly 10 days ago, but the FF automatically continues to periodically ( every other day? ) download the same update, and install it, over and over again. It's done it about 3, or 4 times now. I've been using FF (and/or Mozilla) for around 10 years, and I've never seen this happen before. What's going on?

Thanks TonyE. I deleted the files mentioned in the link, so hopefully that fixes things. The article mentioned that the files would be rebuilt when I restarted FF, and they weren't. Do you think FF will still be able to update, or do you think I'll have to reinstall?
Those files will be re-created the next time they are required. You should be able to update normally without having to re-install.
Ok, great. Thanks again.
