Can't get Hippie Vintage persona back
I had Hippie Vintage persona and when I added other personas, it got deleted. Now I can't find it to reinstall. Why don't you warn people ahead of time that you can only get 8 personas or others will be deleted? Why can't you get more than 8? Please advise how to get Hippie Vintage back. Thank you.

Thank you, cor-el, for the Hippie Vintage! I swear I did a search and looked all over for it yesterday and could not find it. It is one of my favorites, for some reason...maybe because I'm from the hippie era :)
That persona is no longer hosted on the getpersonas site. The link above uses the Google cache, so if it disappears there as well then that persona is lost. So be sure to make a backup of the image files in the Firefox Profile Folder and the related pref in prefs.js.
The values of installed personas and its background color and text color are stored in the pref lightweightThemes.usedThemes in JSON format. The images of the currently selected persona are stored in the files lightweighttheme-footer and lightweighttheme-header

I found pref.js but can't open it because it is in script and has a script error. I don't know about this stuff. I am trying to save Hippie Vintage. Your link in the last post to Hippie Village went to a non-existent file.
Any other way to save this persona? I have Windows 7.

You need the two files that I posted above if you want to save or recover a persona. Installing a new persona will replace the two file with the ones from that new persona. Only the currently selected persona is stored on the computer and if you select another then the files will be downloaded from the web server.
The image files of the currently selected persona are stored in the files lightweighttheme-footer and lightweighttheme-header in the Firefox Profile Folder
The links (data) of the 8 most recently used personas are stored in the file prefs.js
