Hi Tammy.

This really isn't a Mozilla Firefox issue at all.

But those links you're talking about in the XP taskbar - I'm guessing that it's a couple of links on a toolbar like the Quick Launch bar? You should be able to remove those by disabling that toolbar - rightclick in the area just around the buttons (not on them) or anywhere without icons in the taskbar, and in the context menu leftclick Toolbars > (list of toolbars with checkmark besides those that are active). Remove the checkmark besides the one you want to get rid of by leftclicking the name.
