The program says I now have 11 emails which haven't been opened but there are no emails to open, just emails received previously. Apparently I am receiving but they are not visible to me. what happened and how to fix. I'm an amateur and don't understand computer commands.

Try repairing the folder, right click on the folder that says it has 11 emails, then click properties then the repair folder button.
