I have just started using Firefox and ticked that every internet tab is Firefox but every time I click new tab, it states "search with google or enter address" I cannot get into about:config to then get to browser.newtabpage.pinned How do I get rid of this Google message?

Can you explain, what's wrong with this message?

This is normal Firefox address bar description, if google is your selected search engine.

You can switch your search engine to anything else in Settings.
