I have seen instructions on how to fix this problem, regarding deleting global-messages-db.sqlite, panacea.dat, session.json, xulstore.json and various msf files but it has not solved the problem of emails not appearing in local folders. After going through the process, the problem at first appeared to be fixed, but the emails were in jumbled chronological order: they were correct when set to oldest first, but not when set to most recent first. I then created a new sub-folder, copied emails, one at a time, from the old folder and deleted the old folder. This suffered from the same problem and when I looked at another folder and came back to the new one, the emails moved there today has disappeared again. Do you have any other solutions?

Are you confusing mail sorted by thread as lost I wonder as new replies to threads move them up and down.

No Matt, I have everything set up how I want it and this local folder has a problem. I am wary of looking at other folders in case that creates the problem elsewhere.
