hello from france, excuse my english ... I use firefox 91.0.é with a macbook pro 16 / big sur . Untill now firefox was working OK since months,... and this morning no possible to connect ... try several adress , same problem, With other ( safari, chrome) it works, the stop fire is disabled , little snitck disabled ... the strange is that if I connect via VPN (NordVPN) it works, if i stop VPN not possible to connect anywhere. ( msg adress unknow ...) This situation appears since this mornink without I change anything since yesterday ? have ideas ? I need to work sometimes without VPN because some site don't accept foreign connection Thank's for help

Some VPNs can be set to different locations. Check with their support.


Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is/are the exact error message(s) ?

You can check the connection settings.

  • Settings -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.
