Thunderbird on my desktop has a handy 'Delete' button on the mail toolbar but on my laptop the latest version 78.12.0 does not. All of the articles on the web tell me I can get it by right-cicking on the toolbar, choosing 'Customise' and add it from there but there is NO delete btton on the popup that appears. I know I can delete with Edit/Delete, the delete key and right-click and choose delete but the single button is so much easier. I also read that F8 would help but all that does is open a window headed PROJECT.

If anyone can help get me the button back it would be great. Thanks!

In the Customise window, click Restore Default Set and see if the Delete button reappears. If not, Help/Restart with Add-ons Disabled and check 'Reset toolbars & controls', 'Make changes and restart'
