The pixelation is quite visible and it looks like the JPEGs are saved at around 85 per cent quality before being applied as the wallpaper. The same image, if you save it and right click it in Explorer and 'set as desktop background', it's applied at original quality.

What's the reason for this? Can this be fixed?
