Bookmarks are missing after sync but can be found when using bookmark search

more options

Hi,

I'm having an issue where I can't see all of my bookmarks or folders after syncing. I am missing a folder that held a lot of bookmarks. When I go to search for specific bookmarks I can find them but I can't see the folder that contains them. It appears as if the folder or folders themselves have been hidden somehow. I only noticied this after signing in to my mozilla account and syncing my bookmarks. It seems there are issues syncing desktop to mobile and mobile back to desktop.

Please help me find my missing bookmarks. Thank you :)

If you open a bookmark you found via a search in a tab then you can click the highlighted star in location bar to open the "Edit this bookmark" dialog and click the arrow at the far right on the Folder line to open the full bookmarks folder tree. Drag the scroll bar down until to see the currently selected folder.

If you notice you lost bookmarks or accidentally deleted bookmark(s) and you haven't closed Firefox yet then you can use "Organize -> Undo" in the bookmarks manager (Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks) to undo this action and restore bookmark(s) you deleted accidentally or otherwise lost/misplaced. You may have to use Undo more than once (Firefox keeps a full undo stack of changes to bookmarks for the current session).

I wanted to say thank you for this. It really helped me out and showed me a feature I didn't know existed. I found my entire folder and was able to get all of the bookmarks that I somehow moved to a completely unrelated folder.

Thank you again :)
