Error Code CD-106

more options

Good afternoon. When playing IGT casino games (eg scarab, cleopatra) on all websites I get a Error Code CD-106 pop-up, which means it won't load. Further investigation shows that it is a location problem (the game cannot/or doesn't try to identify my location). I am tethering my iphone 6 to a laptop, using mobile data. Using the iphone only is fine, and using wifi on the laptop is fine. The problem is not unique to firefox (my preferred browser), and I could play the games Ok with the old Microsoft Edge, but I now get the problem with the new one. I've gone through loads of settings but to no avail. Grateful for any inspiration please. Adam

I'm sure tethering is the culprit here, and some location data is getting stripped or something and its causing the site to error out -- especially since you said it isn't unique to firefox, right?

Thanks for the reply Eve. Yes this occurs with every browser I've tried. It used to work ok with a previous version of Firefox. When working Ok there is usually a pop-up along the lines of 'xxxxx is trying to identify your location is this ok y/n', if you click 'y' the games work, if 'n' you get the same error as above. As you say it is something to do with the tethering and seemingly no easy solution.
