Sorting Bookmarks in Fire Fox
I really would like to able to keep the results of sorting bookmarks.
So why is that so hard If you want to keep an old sort order, then you need to keep an index by old pointer and have a mode to revert.
But when I try to look thru 50 bookmarks for a particular one, it is so nice to see them in alphabetic order.

See if this - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/sort-bookmarks-quickly-find-ones-you-want#w_sorting-by-name - helps you arrange your bookmarks alphabetically, folder-by-folder. It doesn't sort within a level of folders, so it's harder to sort a full collection of bookmarks at once.
