I had been reading the Firefox review on "Surveillance Capitalism" on 2/25/2020. Then I had installed the Firefox add on "Facebook Container", and shut down. On 2/26/2020 the links to privacy issues that had previously appeared at the bottom of the Firefox opening page disappeared. As an end user, not an IT expert, are these issues related?

It seems to randomly give you a different "Message from Firefox" each time you open a new tab. Is this what you were reading? https://irlpodcast.org/season4/episode5/

Thanks. The random messages from Firefox each time I opened a new tab disappeared. For the last month they had focused on privacy issues. How to restore these messages and the links they had offered without compromising privacy?

Hello Ali,

Could Snippets (see article) be what you are referring to  ?
