I actually think this issue is to do with Windows 10 rather than Firefox as such...but I'll ask here anyway. In fact I kind of know it's Win 10 because pretty much the same thing happens on Edge and Chrome :) Anyway,in Win 7 when you right click and select 'save as' [eg for a picture on Twitter] it saves the file literally instantly...but on Win 10 there's a slight delay,of say a few seconds,before it goes ahead and saves the file. I've tried tons of things that people suggest for this issue,like disabling every service that isn't absolutely necessary etc,disabling some of them fixes it for a short while,then the same thing starts again. Tried a couple of different anti-virus programs [I usually use Avast,I tried Panda and Bitdefender],it did seem a tiny bit better for a while with Panda...but only for a while. I tried several other things I saw in different forums,that I can't remember,none of which fixed it. So I reinstalled Win 7 on that machine...100% perfect,instant 'save as' function,just as it always was before [this lasted for whole 3 days I had Win 7 on there]

I thought,well maybe it's that this old pc doesn't like Windows 10 or something,so since the pc was getting pretty old anyway I then bought a brand new 9th Gen i7 pc with 16GB RAM,installed Win 10 and it's exactly the same.

This problem does seem to go away if I reboot...but then it comes back an hour later...or 5 minutes later :) Does anyone have any idea at all what I can do to fix this? Or is this just normal for Win 10? It's only a fairly small delay,not the 20-30 second delay some others are reporting,it's not the end of the world I suppose,but it's just really annoying,for instance if you're downloading a whole bunch of pics or something it's almost unusable.
