cant change download location in firefox
when i go into tools and want to change download location i can;t type anything in the field.i can get it to turn blue but can't type anything to change location

Are you using any download manager/programs?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
When you click "Save file to" in "Options/Preferences -> General" then you should see an enabled Browse button that allows to set the default download folder. If the Firefox window isn't wide enough then you may not see this button.
