When I go to Ancestry.com on Firefox 62.0.3 on my desktop Mac, I get the attached screenshot for Fulljob bitcoin. I can reach the Ancestry website using Safari or Chrome, or using Firefox on my MacBook on the same network. I tried removing cookies for Ancestry.com but that didn't help. Have run Malwarebytes which found nothing. Appreciate your suggestions!

Thanks.

Full URL works fine. Shortened URL still brings up Fulljob after changing to "no proxy."

Have you tried clearing Firefox's cache, in case a redirect was remembered there? This article has the steps: How to clear the Firefox cache. Please be careful not to clear any other categories of data at the same time.

Here is a screenshot of what comes up instead of Ancestry:

Any difference if you use a full URL:

https://www.ancestry.com/cs/sitemap

Could you check your connection settings:

  • Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
  • Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
  • Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
  • Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it

In the search box at the top of the page, type proxy and Firefox should filter to the "Settings" button, which you can click.

The default of "Use system proxy settings" piggybacks on your system-level settings. "Auto-detect" can lead to a flaky connection. You may want to try "No proxy".

Any difference?

I clicked on the link you provided and had no problems. I think you clicked on something else and thought it was ancestry site.
