Where can I find out how to bring color and design to the home page

I want to customize my home page for color and design what happened to that ability in firefox??

the last one I saw was only a bar at the top that you could use their themes there but the page itself

still looked lifeless and now they dont seem to be offering anything. I hope they have not turned to

the evil ways of the rest of the web browser people out there who only care about one thing MONEY !!!
