Can Mozilla recover for me a lost downloaded .json file from it's archive of downloaded on my Firefox account?

more options

I had a .json file saved/downloaded, on my SSD, which eventually got corrupted, now being that I cant recover it from the disk, I was wandering if Mozilla can offer this support and recover it for me from their archive of downloaded/saved files. The file In question was downloaded/saved nearly 2 months ago and in my Firefox sync, download section it seems that the archive shows the downloads with two weeks after. Thank you!

Hi, that is not how Sync works, it Syncs 2 devices to share the same data. Note if you are using this as a backup you will loose your data.

Also Mozilla does not have anything to do with what you downloaded through it's Firefox Browser.

Sorry, that is just not how things work. Mozilla does not monitor you using Firefox.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Hi manonfir3, when you Sync download history, it is just the information about the download (URL, date/time, size, etc.) that you can see when you "Show All Downloads" in Firefox. Sync does not upload the actual files.

If you right-click the download on the list and use Copy Download Link, can you use that link in Firefox to re-download the file again?
