Could you please explain this :
When I opened FireFox I was presented with a screen to load all of the "protective" software.
Please list what these were/are as Firefox does not come with Protective software. Is this a custom Firefox downloaded from a ISP ?
Please use more than 1 scanner as each uses diff tech :

How did you do the Firefox update as was it a internal update in Firefox or by download from mozilla.org like say www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
Firefox updates or downloads from Mozilla does not come with any extra software whether protective or not.
Firefox updates are not done from a random website as there is a fake update page popping up due to malvertising Ads that has a blue background and words like "Firefox requires a manual update" as the image below is a example of this fake update page. If this is the so called Firefox update you installed with a extension then you may need to start Firefox in Safe-mode to uninstall this extension as one of the things it does is block access to the Addons Manager in Firefox.
There is no date identification anywhere so I cannot tell what was installed today. Therefore I cannot disable it! The only date I can find anywhere is in the "Installation Log" which tells me nothing!
For some reason you require two responses...
