I've tried the fixes suggested to speed up quantum. 1. Set browser.tabs.remote.autostart and autostart2 to false. 2. Accessiblity.force_disabled is already set to 1 3. Under options, privacy, permissions I checkecked Prevent accessibility services from accessing your browser. Still slow. Please help. Tom Szaller

Did you try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox?

You can create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
