Create a new folder for those emails.

  • Right click on mail account name in left Folder Pane.
  • select 'New Folder'
  • Give folder a suitable name eg: 'Facebook'
  • create as subfolder of: mail account name
  • click on 'Create Folder'

If this is an imap mail account then you may need to Subscribe to see the folder.

then create a filter to send emails automatically to that folder.

  • 'Menu icon' > 'Message Filters' > 'Message Filters'
  • Make sure you creating a filter for the correct mail account
  • click on 'New'
  • Give filter a suitable name eg: Facebook

Apply filter when:

  • select 'Manually Run'

  • select 'Match all of the following'
  • select 'From' and 'Contains' and type: facebook

Perform these actions:

  • choose the 'Facebook' folder on mail account name.

If you have emails in eg: Inbox from facebook people, you could manually run that filter on the Inbox.

  • select / highlight the 'Facebook' filter

Run selected filter(s) on:

  • click on 'Choose Folder' drop down options
  • select the Inbox on that mail account.
  • click on 'Run Now' button.
