Firefox v.56 keeps opening a "sorry we couldn't restore your previous session" tab on startup

Ever since I undated to Firefox v.56, 64 bit (and later v.56.0.1) Firefox always opens with the "Well, this is embarrassing, unable to restore previous session" tab in addition to my homepage. This occurs even tho, as it always has been, I have selected "show your home page when Firefox starts" on the general options page. I've tried deleting the folders within the session restore folder of my profile, but that doesn't help. The same thing is happening on both my desktop and laptop computers, so it's not some kind of problem with my computer. Any suggestions? It's easy enough to close the "sorry we couldn't restore your previous session" restore tab every morning when I start Firefox, but it is kind of annoying.

Thank you. I unchecked the "session" block on ccleaner, then ran it and re-started my computer as a test. It worked! No "session restore attempt" tab.
