I have exported bookmarks on my windows 7 and try to import to waterfox ( the same version ) on my windows 10, and nothing happened. Also, I made backup of bookmarks on my WF on win7 and tried to restore it on WF on my Win 10 and I get a message: "This will replace all of your current bookmarks with the backup. "Are you sure? If I press Yes button I get next one: "Unable to process the backup file."

Also, I have logged in WF with my sync account to both windows on two different pc's. Only what I get on my new pc is synced tabs on main page in WF.

What Should I do in order get bookmarks on my new pc with windows 10, beside all I did. Is there any simple way to copy files ( bookmarks ) from windows 7 and to paste to win 10?

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks and history) in the Firefox profile folder.

You can try to copy the places.sqlite file to the current profile folder. You need to remove possible existing places.sqlite-shm and places.sqlite-wal temp files.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.

You can copy files like these with Firefox closed to the current profile folder to recover specific data. Note that you should be cautious with copying SQLite database files if you previously had problems.

  • bookmarks and history: places.sqlite
  • bookmark backups: compressed .jsonlz4 backups in the bookmarkbackups folder
  • cookies.sqlite for the cookies
  • formhistory.sqlite for saved form data
  • logins.json and key3.db (decryption key) for Passwords saved in the Password Manager
  • cert8.db and possibly cert_override.txt for (intermediate) certificates stored in the Certificate Manager
  • persdict.dat for words you added to the spelling checker dictionary
  • permissions.sqlite for Permissions and possibly content-prefs.sqlite for other Site Preferences
  • sessionstore.js for open tabs and pinned tabs
