I followed the directions on this forum configure the browser to add adobe reader plugin to firefox to open PDF formats. I went to options, then applications, then portable document (in the content column) and to try to find adobe reader in the action column. However adobe reader did not appear in the action column. I know adobe is on my computer but how do I get it added to the actions for this browser?

Adobe programs are add-on plugins.

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)

On the left side of the page, select Plugins.
