The latest update gives me the option to send my emails later but I want to send them as I write them. Please advise.

It sounds like you probably have the add-on "Send Later" installed, and its options got changed.

Go to add-ons: Thunderbird menu: Tools: Add-ons Select "Extensions" on the left side. Find the add-on "Send Later" on the right side and click its "Options" button.

In the "Send Later preferences" window, under the "General" tab, un-check the option "Send" does "Send Later"

Or you can just remove that add-on, if you don't use it.
