Firefox is already running
I know there are answer to this problem but I want to know why this is happening. Refer screen shot.
Due to this problem "Firefox is already running but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed" some times it take a lot of time just to use website.
Note it is not like that, after closing Firefox browser I restart the browser sooner.
What could be cause of this problem?
Thank you

Use one of these to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox title bar.
- "3-bar" menu button > Exit (Power button)
- Windows: File > Exit
- Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox
- Linux: File > Quit
Hi, thank you for reply with suggestions. I have started doing File> Exit and so for going well.

You can also use; Quit Firefox {web link} Quit Firefox provides statusbar and Toolbar buttons to quickly shut down Firefox. It is especially useful for laptop users.

Hi thank you for the reply. I have installed this but where is Statusbar Toolbar buttons so I could use?
Type about:customizing<enter> in the address bar. In the new window, look for the icon. When you find it, hold down the left button on it, and move it to where you want it to be. You can move any of the icons you want from here, but some icons are locked in place.
There is also a Restore Defaults button at the bottom middle.

Hi, thank you for detailed reply. I checked and found it helpful but I later removed it and using File/Exit.
