Want to install selenium-server-standalone-2.52.0 add on but firefox says it is corrupted. Its a executable jar from selenium. Tried all your faq none work.

Want to install selenium-server-standalone-2.52.0 add on but firefox says it is corrupted. Its a executable jar from selenium. Tired all your faq none work.

Error " This add-on could not be installed because is it corrupted"

All i want is to install the Selenium IDE which i am not able to. 1.Have googled for the error but none worked. 2.Have disabled the anti virus , thinking it was unzipping to scan the file and then zipping it , causing it to break the protocol. But that doesnt work too. 3. Have installed reinstalled many time and even lower version doesnt work. 4. I am on windows 10 , checked if windows is causing the jar file to open break the sign , but could not find any .

It may have been better to leave the unanswered question a few more days before bumping it. The forum software prioritises unanswered questions but treats a second post from the OP as a reply.

Sorry your question subject is not something I understand but as you have no other answers I am replying. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selenium_%28software%29#Selenium_WebDriver) Possibly anyone wishing to answer would like to know the exact error message.

You may still get an answer from someone else here, but you are probably better trying stack overflow or even Mozillazine
