When filling informs I finish and submit to be told the browser has timmed out and I have lost everything i have done. How to stop this please?

Please can you help with this. I am sure you know how annoying it is to do a lot of work and to lose it. I could not see any way to save the information regularly. If this exists, please advise me where/how etc. Many thanks for what you all do.
