When I press on some extension buttons (for example Ghostery, Self-Destructing Cookies) on top bar, or on menu bar, to open their dialog boxes, those boxes opens but looks like white blank boxes. They worked before, but now they are empty.

Chosen solution

This issue can be caused by the Ghostery extension.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Thank you. After I disabled Ghostery, another extenstion (Self-Destructing Cookies) started to work properly. Seems that this is Ghostery's problem.
