Mac, Snow Leopard Operating system. Too many windows are opening. Sometimes duplicates of what is already open. I would like to go back to how I previously just added a tab to get to a new window. I find this frustrating. This doesn't happen in Safari but I prefer Firefox. Everytime is use firefox I get multiple windows although not always duplicates.

I have a similar problem. FF3.6 opens a new window when dble clicking a link in another app or viewing a web page I've created and want to review. I reloaded the previous version and the problem went away. My daughter laded the update without asking and now I am back again with the issue. Mac 10.4.11 intel
Every time I click a link, a new browser window opens (instead of a new tab like I have designated). Win XP Pro/FF 3.6.7 just updated yesterday and that is when it started. I would appreciate a fix quickly as I work daily on FF and prefer tabs to cumbersome windows.
I suspect the problem is due to some addon I have or hat plus the new skin that comes with FF 3.6... So I just went to the mozilla downloads and re-installed the FF 3.5.11.
