Currently, I am using the plugin ReplyWithHeader, which will produce this style of header on reply/forward, but is there a way to display this in the email body on view, without me having to reply/forward to produce the headers in the email body?

When I receive a Popup that an email has been downloaded, and I click on Delete, this action takes me to the email app. I should just delete the email and leave me where I am on my desk top, not take me to Thunderbird.

I’m running Thunderbird 147.0.1 (64-bit) on both my desktop and laptop, both using Windows 11 Version 25H2 (Build 26200.7705). I’m trying to highlight sent (outgoing) messages where the correspondent and recipient are different (i.e., not sending to myself). When this condition is met, I want the subject line to appear green. My logic is: • Match outgoing mail where the correspondent column contains one of my addresses • Exclude rows where the recipient column also contains one of my addresses • Apply formatting only to the subject column tr:has(
td.correspondentcol-column[title*="@pm.me"], td.correspondentcol-column[title*="@protonmail.com"], td.correspondentcol-column[title*="@passinbox.com"]
):not(
:has(td.recipientcol-column[title*="@pm.me"]), :has(td.recipientcol-column[title*="@protonmail.com"]), :has(td.recipientcol-column[title*="@passinbox.com"])
) td.subjectcol-column {
color: var(--tb-green) !important; font-weight: 600 !important; background-color: #e8f5e9 !important;
} Same Thunderbird version, same Windows build, same CSS file, same mail account structure. Is there something on the desktop system that could prevent this from working? For example: • about:config setting related to CSS • Layout or column differences affecting selectors • Rendering engine differences between installations • UI density / table layout mode differences My expectation is that this logic should behave identically on both systems, so I suspect a configuration or UI state difference. Any guidance would be appreciated.

How can I get TB to read mail from local file instead of always going to the server? When I try to open an email in TB, there is a long pause as TB goes to the server for the email, instead of the local copy. Why is that and hoe can I get TB to read from my Hard drive instead of the google internet file?

For as far back as I can remember I've been using Mozilla Thunderbird on a old computer running Windows 7. I've a Win10 machine here so a few months ago, I downloaded the latest Thunderbird and I was suprised to see it looked very different. After a bit of experimenting I managed to get it looking familiar so I uninstalled it with the intention of trying it again early in 2026 when I've a bit more free time, So this morning I installed the latest version but it looks even more different now :-(
I'm not sure how to attach images here but if it works, the original one looked like Capture01 and this morning's one is like Capture02. I still had my installer from a few months ago so I installed that one and it looks the same as today's one. Notice that there's no menu bar any more and AFAICT I can only view email headers and not their contents. Also, the 3 boxes at the top RHS (for sizing the window / minimizing it etc) don't work at all.
Is it me doing something wrong - or are there maybe some settings somewhere that I need to experiment with?
