Hi all.

I use Firefox as my default browser and I listen to different radio stations that have no app available (they only broadcast over web).

While playing them over Firefox, if I happen to have google maps open for directions, the sound on Firefox won't dim at all whenever Google maps is giving me any instructions and both sounds (Firefox and Google maps) will overlap.

This doesn't happen with other apps like Spotify, which dims the sound perfectly fine with every interactions from Google maps.

I've busted my brains trying to figure this out unsuccessfully.

You guys happent know how can I fix this, please?

If possible, please fix the bugs in the update which disabled my ability to enjoy using firefox. I used to use Firefox to listen to YouTube to get past the ads and I could turn my phone off with Firefox continuing to run in the background allowing me to continue listening. after an update to Firefox occurred, the Firefox app would stop running in the background when I turned the screen off on my new Samsung phone.

I connected my blutooth headphones, my video wouldn't load. Then I switched to a different tab, it only ever showed the background color, not even a loading bar. This happens for every tab. The same thing happened last night with my wired headphones.

I used to be able stream music at "Classicalcalifornia.org" formerly "KUSC.org". But it hasn't worked for some months now. I'd love to see it working again. I don't have any other problems with streaming audio on any other station. This problem occurs with Android Firefox. Thank yo7 for your excellent web browser -Vince Marshall

Facebook messenger won't work with Firefox for Video and Audio calls. How can it be made to work, even if it involves plugins or even spoofing a different browser?

The problem is that whenever I use some website like a streaming website I just cannot dream something like I have get into the home screen like I can't charge a lot of movies choose a lot of movies not charge our movies so and when choosing movies for example I just know he is not click the movie and when I'm watching it like I am at the place we in like you know Boss play That's action it is not work I mean it does not work

As of around 6 weeks ago (bit of a guess) I no longer have the option of pausing/playing media on a tab from the tab list. For at least the last few years prior to this issue, whenever I had a tab playing media (mostly video, but sometimes audio e.g. a podcast episode on BBC.com) there would be a small pause button for that tab in the tab list.

I've attached a attachment (2 screenshots merged). The tab with the purple circle is currently playing a MP4 video (streamable.com) and I would usually see a pause button, I think where the circle is located but might have been in a different corner.

Additional info: while playing video, I am able to pause through system notification (see image attachment) so the playback IS recognized. But no pause/play button in tab list.

One feature request that would make Firefox Android truly unbeatable:

Built-in Background Play — for all platforms.

Currently, to play YouTube or Facebook videos in the background, users have to manually switch to Desktop Mode, which is a frustrating and confusing workaround. Most users don't even know this trick exists.

Please make background play a native, one-tap feature that works automatically on any video platform — YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and beyond — without requiring Desktop Mode or any workaround.

Brave is already competing for YouTube users. Firefox can win them all by being the only mobile browser that plays any video in the background, natively and effortlessly.

This single feature would bring thousands of users away from premium subscriptions. YouTube Premium's biggest selling point is background play. Firefox can offer that for free, for every platform, to every user.

That is a massive opportunity. Please take it.

Can you add YouTube chromium browser feature that swipe down from bottom edge of the video to full screen mode?

When I play a YouTube video, then I don't want it to be landscape Fullscreen. I want it to be portrait full screen mode where I can focus the present video without being distracted by others video thumbnail.

And guys please focus on popular platform to make them free of premium service like YouTube, Facebook and others. That's how you'll get their users who wants to get the premium feature for free like Brave browser focusing YouTube, that's great. But Brave don't have ublock origin extension, that's why I use Firefox. Because Brave Built in ads blocker can't block Facebook ads. Facebook ads only listen the BOSS called ublock origin.

I have a few feature requests and thoughts I'd love to share:

1. YouTube Portrait Fullscreen Gesture When watching a YouTube video in the browser, please add a swipe-down gesture from the bottom edge of the video to enter portrait fullscreen mode — not landscape. I want to focus entirely on the current video without being distracted by recommended video thumbnails around it. A clean, portrait fullscreen experience would be a huge improvement for YouTube viewers.

2. Focus on Replacing Premium Features of Popular Platforms Firefox has a real opportunity to win users by making premium features of popular platforms like YouTube and Facebook freely accessible through the browser. Brave browser is doing something smart by focusing on YouTube, and that strategy is attracting users. Firefox can go further.

Here is the key advantage Firefox already has: uBlock Origin. Brave's built-in ad blocker cannot block Facebook ads effectively. uBlock Origin can — and it does. This is a major reason many users choose Firefox over Brave. Please double down on this strength, highlight it louder, and build more features around it.

Yesterday I just use YouTube website on my official firefox app for mobile and it works fine. But today when I try to look for a specific video when the clips reach 1 min it starting to hang and error... at first I thought it's just the content so I try other one still same after 1 min it get hang, so I try to remove some of the extension I have and disable them all and try again but still after 1 min it stop, so I try it on beta the same video same website I sync my firefoxes browser with one account, I also try it on nightly and also the video play smoothly and its finish it same with beta, but the official seems to have a problem... my official firefox apps is fully updated... do you think i should keep using he beta and nightly while the official is kinda on a bugs error..., I hope mozilla solve that fast.. keep up the good work

This browser is slow in browsing compared to the Chromium engine on low-end Android devices. Also, this browser doesn't have a special YouTube feature to "swipe from the top" (swipe down) to see the video in Portrait Fullscreen mode (one video in fullscreen in portrait mode, not landscape). This removes the video suggestions shown below the main video to maintain high focus on the current video. Brave has this feature; that's why I use the Brave browser to replace YouTube Premium. And I use Firefox with uBlock Origin to remove all ads from Facebook only. So in short, I use Firefox to browse Facebook and I use the Brave browser to watch YouTube. (You might wonder why I don't use Brave to browse Facebook? Brave's built-in ad blocker is weaker than uBlock Origin, which can't remove all Facebook ads even in aggressive mode. That's why I use Firefox for Facebook). But I want everything in Firefox Android. Please focus on popular platforms like Facebook and YouTube, so that people think that we don't need to buy Premium; we can use Firefox with the uBlock Origin extension without buying Premium for removing ads.
